Petroleum Technology in a Green Environment


Mr. Keith Goodman ( UK ) is a Senior Inspection Engineer with over 20 years of experience in Onshore and Offshore Oil/Gas fields , Refineries , Petro-Chemical and LNG Processing Plants . His experience includes pipelines , API and ASME VIII Coded Pressure Vessels, piping systems and pipe coating , hydrocarbon storage facilities , multi-disciplined fabrication yards , oil field equipment , installation/maintenance/inspection of offshore platforms , structures and pipelines , offshore mooring systems , CALM and SALM Buoys and modification to FSO .  
 


He is currently the Senior Consultant of Score Europe wherein he is involved with the verification of welding/NDT procedures and pressure testing of pipeline emergency shutdown valves ( API 6D, ASME IX ).

During his career life, Mr. Goodman worked as a Quality Surveyor for Statoil/DNV in North Sea , UK where he was responsible for the surveillance of Mainline Front/Back End welding & coating ( Phoenix System ) and ensured compliance with weld procedures and repair analysis . Mr. Goodman worked as Quality Surveyor, NDT Inspector and Client Representative for Stolt Offshore in different countries where he was mainly involved in the reviewing and interpreting AUT/RAD and mechanical testing reports and inspection of numerous subsea pipelines and offshore structures .

Mr. Goodman's expertise can be traced back from his experience as Specialist Inspection Engineer/Surveyor , QA/QC Welding Inspector , and Welding Supervisor in various companies such as Lloyd's Register, DNV, Norsk Hydro , Sandberg Consulting Engineers , Oil & Pipeline Agency ( OPA ), Gecad , Kvaerner Oil & Gas and Amec Oil & Gas throughout all sectors of the North Sea ( UK , Norway , Denmark and the Netherlands ).

Mr. Goodman has a Masters degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Fabrication & Welding Engineering. He is a registered Welding Inspector and a certified European Welding Inspection Practitioner .
