Course Objectives
This course is a joint effort of Haward Technology and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The two parties are joining their efforts to present this state-of-the-Art course, in the Middle East.

The course is designed to provide the knowledge and tools to assist management personnel in the development of oil spill contingency arrangements and to gain the decision-making skills necessary to make immediate and informed decisions during oil spill incidents.  Participants will also be provided with a knowledge of the fate and behavior of spilled oil, the impacts that oil has on the marine environment, the vulnerability of various to shoreline types and impact that clean-up operations may have.

The course content is designed to be compatible with the IMO OPRC Model Training Course Level 2, for Supervisors and On-Scene Commanders . This course also includes 'Hands on' Practical Sessions for deployment of equipment to reinforce safety and assessments of oiled shorelines.

Practical Exercise
Participants should ensure that they have suitable work clothing, including safety shoes, coveralls and a hard hat available for their own use during the practical deployment exercises.

Course Certificate
Petrolab Engineering certificate will be issued to all attendees completing minimum of 75% of the total tuition hours of the course.

Course Fee
US $ 3,500
per Delegate. This fee includes Student Pack ( Folder, Manual, Hand-outs, book(s), etc. ), buffet lunch, coffee/tea on arrival, morning and afternoon of each day. Further it includes 'Hands-on' Practical sessions for Deployment of Equipment during the course.

Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in course fees. However, any accommodation required can be arranged by Petrolab Engineering at the time of booking.
